Father's Day card for my dad

Here is the card that I have made to give to my dad for Father's day. I am in Elgin at the moment staying with Granda and Karen, but I will see my dad in the afternoon on father's day when I get home and will give him is card then.

Karen has printed out this digi image from Di's Digital Designs for me to use. I think this is a good card for my dad as he likes beer. I have coloured it in with copic and promarker pens and I have been using the bigshot again to cut out the circles with the nestbilities - I love doing this.

I have used the sketch this week at Sketch Saturday.

I hope that my dad likes his card.

Wedding card for Allsorts Challenge and Secret Crafter Challenge

I was staying with Karen and Granda in Elgin at the weekend and made a few cards while I was there. Mum had asked me to make a wedding card to send to a friend in London so Karen printed off some images for me and gave me some of her wedding papers to make this card.

I have used this lovely image from Pixie Dust Studios and the papers are by trimcraft I think. This is the first time that Karen has showed me how to use her bigshot machine and some nestabilities to cut the circles out - what fun that was.

The last time that I was making cards with Karen we used a sketch to follow and I have done this again this time and the one that I used for this card is the one at Allsorts. I am also going to enter this card at Secret crafter where they are looking for wedding cards.

Karen designed the little sticker for the back of my cards that says Handmade for you on the computer for me and has printed out 3 pages of them for me to take home with me.

I also found out that Karen has a magic white pen that I can use to cover up the bits where I have gone over the lines which makes my cards looks much better.

I also have another card that I have nearly finished and I will get it posted tomorrow.

Get Well Soon Grandma

Here is a card that I made earlier in the week to give to my great grandma. She fell in her house the week before last and broke her hip and also her collar bone and will be in hospital for a while.

I now have a box of craft bits and pieces at home. I used to only make cards when I go to Elgin to visit granda and Karen, but I now have a box of my own at home and also my own collection of promarkers which I need to keep away from my brothers.

I have used a digi image from Pixie Dust Studios on this card that Karen printed off for me and also some papers that I got from Hobbycraft when I went with grandma.

I hope that you like my card - my great grandma loved it and now has it in the hospital with her.

My final card of the weekend

This is the last card that I have made this weekend and I have used the sketch from Papertake weekly. This is the first time that I have used sketches and I like doing this. These papers were ones that Karen had saved for me from a magazine, but we don't know which one it was, the digi image was a free one from bugaboo stamps and I think he is just soo cute. I have made this card for my grandma so I hope she likes it.

Crafty Monkeys card

I have been at Granda and Karen's for the weekend and I have had a busy crafting weekend. It has been really cold and windy so it was not good to be outside. Karen and I went to Papercrafts in Elgin on Saturday to see Judy doing some colouring with prisma pencils and her pictures were beautiful. I got the new docrafts kit with all the papers, ribbons, buttons and flowers and I have used some of these on my card that I have made for the Crafty Monkeys challenge. I have used a digi image from CC designs. The thank you stamp is one that I got from the new Hobbycrafts shop in Aberdeen where I went with my grandma and she bought me some stamps, cards, inkpads and stickers.

Here is the Hannah's beautiful sketch to follow for the challenge

I have made 2 more cards, but we need to go out now so Karen will upload them later.
